Ensemble message: Casual yet office appropriate outfit!  I love burnt orange and other shades of rust, but worry about looking like a pumpkin.  I will stay away from too much green and brown, but these sage tights seem just right.
I know things have slowed down a bit here guys... but a house is seriously like another full-time job.  And, the Day Job lately has been pushing well beyond 9 to 5.  But I will try to get you guys quickie posts like this - I am still taking outfit photos, so they might as well get published.  Thanks for sticking around y'all :)

Ensemble message: This is another orange colored item that I recently acquired!  I'm getting super itchy for spring and have been steering towards lighter knits and brighter colors lately... despite the fact that I have a ski weekend coming up!  Can we say denial??  But I'm being sure to keep the colors toned down since it's still technically winter.  Luckily, The Husband had this sweater on his shelf in the perfect grey, so on it went :)

Once the weather warms up, I'm anxious to pair this skirt with nautical stripes and bright tops for a color-blocking effect!  What are you wearing in anticipation of spring??

Ensemble message: Today was birthday celebration #3 with my co-workers!  (#1 and #2 happened over the weekend.)  For people's birthdays, we always bring in snack food, which is nice because the entire team can enjoy it throughout the week.  I'm the "health nut" of the group, so the treats included fresh blueberries and grapes, trail mix, clementines, whole wheat pretzels, whole grain tortilla chips, and cake.  Because birthdays, no matter how healthy you are, are not complete without cake :)  Do you celebrate birthdays and other special events in the office??
On a different note... in the past couple months I've either been gifted or bought 4 clothing items that are orange or rust orange in color.  This includes today's dress, which my lovely little sis bought me from Spotted Moth for my birthday.  I can't tell yet if this is a weird coincidence or new obsession!
